Turntables, also known as ‘swivel discs’ or ‘transfer discs’, are circular rotating platforms that assist in turning or pivoting a patient after coming to a stand from a seated position. They are especially useful for patients with limited mobility making it easier for carers to assist with transfers between chairs, beds and other seated positions.
The Locomotor Turntables are available in two sizes, with the options of either a fabric or plastic surface. The Turntable can be used independently or with assistance for those who have difficulty moving their feet when swivel transferring between two seated surfaces.
