The Uni Slide Bed allows a one directional slide (up in a bed) then locks, preventing the patient sliding down. This reduces the amount of patient handling required to reposition the patient and thus reduces the risk of back injury to the nurse or carer associated with these tasks.
The Quilted Uni Slide Bed is a soft quilted tubular, one way slide and lock sheet which allows a one directional slide (up in the bed). On attaining the desired position on the bed, the locking function of the Quilted Uni Slide helps to retain the position of the user, preventing the user sliding down. This reduces the amount of patient handling required to reposition the patient and thus reduces the risk of back injury to the caregiver associated with these tasks.
